Why not take advantage of this and use text messages to help market your business? There are many ways you can use texts to communicate with your customers and grow your sales. 1. Set up a reward program
Who doesn’t love rewards? Your customers sure will. Use your text campaign to set up a lucrative reward program for your business. There are many ways you can do this; it will depend on the type of market you are in. For instance, if you own a clothing store, set up a reward program based on the amount someone spends. When a customer spends $10, give them one point. Once they spend a total of $100 or get 10 points, reward them with a nice offer. Give them a $10 certificate or a certain percent off. You will find that many customers will make purchases just to get their reward.

2. Send out special offers
Just like rewards, your customers will love special offers. From time to time, send out texts to your subscribers with offers they just cannot resist. Again, this will depend on what kind of business you are in. If your business is a restaurant, offer a free meal with purchase, or something similar. Many of your customers will come in just to redeem such a wonderful offer. You do not have to send out these offers all the time, but every now and then is a nice gesture. It is a great way to let your customers know how much you appreciate them.

3. Share special information
Do you have a sale coming up? Send out a text message to let your customers know about it. Let them know when the sale is and what is included. When your customers receive a text with this information, it is easy for them to transfer it over to their calendar or keep the text for future reference. If you send out the text several days before the sale, be sure to send out one closer to the date so it is not forgotten.

You can also send out other information that you know your customers will appreciate. Are you going to start carrying a new product or product line? Do you plan on changing a policy or the hours of your store? Did you receive a special shipment of a hard to find item? Will you be serving a special meal that many people enjoy? No matter what it is, your customers will appreciate knowing special news about your business.
